Our cleaning process uses ultrasound (usually from 20-100 kHz) and ordinary
tap water to clean metal surfaces. The ultrasound can be used with water but, use of an appropriate solvent enhances the effect. Cleaning normally takes between one (1) and three (3) hours.
Ultrasonic cleaning uses high frequency sound waves to agitate in a liquid. Cavitation bubbles induced by the agitation act on contaminants adhering to substrates like metals and plastics. This action also penetrates blind holes, cracks, and recesses.
